Summer Glow Smoothie Recipe

Healthy skin starts from the inside out. Yes, your diet can show up on your face! Stress….fast food…the binge on chocolates you didn’t tell anybody about.  We have ALL been there, but it is all good because I have your back. This smoothie recipe will help start your Summer glow from the inside out!

P.S. This is one of my favorite smoothies….it tastes like a tropical paradise in a cup. Hints the name!

Tropical Paradise Smoothie Recipe

2 cups of frozen pineapples
1 – 1 1/2 cup of 100% coconut water
1 – 2 handful of greens
1 teaspoon sweetener of choice (optional)
Put everything in a blender and blend! I recommend using spinach versus kale because spinach hides better in smoothies. And my favorite sweetener is 100% raw honey. If you decide to use unfrozen pineapples that is fine! Just add some ice and use less coconut water. Ease peasy!

Benefits:

Pineapples are packed with enzymes that help with digestion. Especially protein. It will help with internal cleansing through digestion.

Coconut water tastes great in smoothies plus it will help keep you hydrated during the warm Summer. As you know, hydration is key to keep your skin smooth and clear.

Greens are so hard to get in our diet, but they are so awesome for you. Why not smuggle them into a smoothie?! Yes and thank  you! Get your antioxidant on!
